Welcome to Sarka – The Finnish Museum of Agriculture!
Sarka is the national museum of agriculture. It was established in 2005, and was given the Museum of the Year –award in 2021.
Sarka aspires to show the history of Finnish agriculture with a modern, versatile, and interesting approach. Our goal is to educate on the past, present and the future, and allow people to experience history in innovative ways. The museum has three permanent exhibitions, temporary exhibitions, and a spacious outdoor area. The museum also has its own café-restaurant and a museum shop.
Sarka is managed by Suomen maatalousmuseosäätiö (the Foundation of Finnish Agricultural museums), and is supported by the Ministry of Education and Culture, and the city of Loimaa.
