The foundation was born as a civic organisation to advance the idea of getting a museum of agriculture into Loimaa region and today it acts as the administrator. In the past years the Foundation has been touring agricultural exhibitions with a steam engine and a shingle plane in addition to the museum project. It has encouraged collectors and farmers to keep and store old agricultural items.
